He was the chief architect of the SAF certificate (SAFc) concept, co-founded the Sustainable Aviation Buyer’s Alliance (SABA), helped pioneer the industry’s first long term SAFc contracts, and now leads an initiative to create a long-term bankable offtake system for SAF. In his current role, he oversees Sustainability for World Energy, a renewable fuel producer. Adam is also the elected Board Chair of the Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB). During his free time, he tries but fails to catch up to his two sons’ running paces.

At 1PointFive, he works with strategic partners across policy, regulatory, commercial and technology domains to scale deployment of Carbon Engineering’s Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology at STRATOS, the world’s largest commercial DAC facility. He is also actively engaged in shaping the greenhouse gas removals (GGR) policy landscape and contributes to the UK government’s Jet Zero Taskforce as a member of the GGR working group.

In June 2024, Jonathon was appointed IAG Group Sustainability Officer. Jonathon was also Chair of the oneworld airline alliance’s Environment Strategy Board from 2020 to 2023. In December 2024, he was appointed as a member of the UK Government’s Jet Zero Taskforce Experts Group. In 2024, Jonathon was privileged to have been awarded an honorary doctorate from Cranfield University, cited for his “outstanding and sustained contribution to embedding sustainability across the aviation sector”. In 2025, Jonathon was honoured to be awarded the Air League’s President’s Meritorious Service Award cited for his “tireless dedication and commitment to sustainability and nurturing the next generation of talent”. In 2019 Juan Carlos was appointed by ICAO as member of the Technical Advisory Body (TAB) for CORSIA. At Abatable, Juan Carlos oversees Abatable's knowledge and policy function, providing actionable insights, data and models for all carbon market participants to help increase transparency in the industry. He leads Abatable's CORSIA supply and demand modelling, analysis and advisory services.

Martina has been involved in the EU ETS regulations since 2009 while working for DC Aviation (formerly known as DaimlerChrysler Aviation) as Fuel Manager where she was asked to take part in the implementation of EU ETS relevant regulations. Ever since the inclusion of aviation in the regulatory framework of EU ETS, Martina has closely collaborated with Business Aviation Associations such as EBAA, GBAA, IBAC and others that led to her appointment to represent IBAC and the global business aviation community at the ICAO GMTF (Global Market Based Measures Task Force Group) Meetings, where a group of global experts designed what is now known as ICAO’s CORSIA (Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation). Between 2010-2019 Martina held the position of Fuel & ETS Manager for the global TAG Aviation group, operating more than 120 aircraft at that time. Since 2022, using her experience and knowledge in this field, Martina has been assisting business aviation operators with their obligatory compliance.

Today, Solange leads the UK environmental strategy for Airbus aircraft in operation, shaping key positions on decarbonisation. Her work now actively encompasses the crucial role of carbon removals, serving as the Airbus representative in the Jet Zero Taskforce for both the Non-CO2 and Greenhouse Gas Removals (GGRs) workstreams.
